Radiology is a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a PET/CT Technologist at RAYUS Radiology, you will perform Positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (PET/CT) procedures according to established standards and protocols to provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision.
  • Screen patients before procedures for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for PET/CT procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance on PET/CT scanners and mobile units.
  • Conduct daily quality control procedures to ensure correct operation.
  • Troubleshoot issues and report problems to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safety-related work behaviors to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Compliance with ACR and AOA guidelines for quality control procedures.
