Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team to achieve high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's quality standards.
  • Guest Services: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management: Manage and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including front desk, maintenance, and laundry, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a focus on housekeeping or customer service.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
