Job Summary:

As a key member of the Adventist Health team, the Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in producing high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. This involves operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients, and adjusting equipment settings to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts.
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Verify exams on PACS and report important information to physicians.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent experience.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
