We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse II to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Sutter Health.
Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse II will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state where care is provided.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- ENPC certification within 180 days.
- NIHSS certification within 90 days.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience in pediatric intensive care.
Working Conditions:
This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by NIOSH.
