About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
  • Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols

Requirements:

  • Valid state of CT nursing license
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
