Join Pipeworks Studios as a Senior Animator

We are seeking a skilled Senior Animator to become a vital part of our creative team, working on an exciting Unreal Engine-based AAA project. In this role, you will work closely with the Art Lead to produce exceptional animations that enhance our diverse range of projects across various styles and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality animations tailored for multiple projects
  • Investigate and apply the best practices for different gaming platforms
  • Collaborate with the Art Lead and Design team to express characters' personalities and emotions through animation
  • Partner with Character Artists to ensure that character designs meet motion requirements
  • Innovate new techniques and tools with the team to improve animation workflows
  • Create visually stunning animations that elevate the overall quality of our games
  • Work effectively with artists and engineers to meet project goals
  • Address challenges to support the team and project success
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Maya or comparable animation software
  • Strong background in Unreal Engine animation
  • Ability to craft compelling 2D or 3D animations within the engine
  • Experience in concept development and storyboarding
  • Understanding of traditional animation methods
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to provide precise time estimates
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in storyboarding and 2D animation
  • Familiarity with motion graphics
  • Knowledge of Unity
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position

Applicants are required to submit a portfolio or demo reel that showcases their animation work. An art test may be part of the selection process.
