We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Group. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing care and management for common illnesses and diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide preventative health care services to long-term patients, including ordering medications and treatments as needed.
- Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Three years of clinical experience in healthcare.
- AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State.
- Registered in AZ as a Nurse Practitioner and hold national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations.
- American Heart Association BCLS certification.
