Psychiatric Locum Tenens Position

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a locum tenens position that offers a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.
Assignment Details- Duration: 6-month engagement
- Work Schedule: Onsite availability for up to 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
- Call Requirements: No call responsibilities
- Part-Time Options: Open to part-time providers, with a minimum commitment of 2-3 days per week
The psychiatrist will manage a caseload of approximately 12-13 patients in a dynamic clinic environment. Evaluations are conducted weekly, with a focus on:
- 3-4 evaluations per day
- No time constraints for evaluations and follow-ups
A Social Worker will assist with initial assessments, allowing the psychiatrist to focus on ongoing patient care.
Patient PopulationThe role primarily involves working with a chronic and persistently mentally ill patient demographic.
QualificationsWe prefer candidates who are:
- Board certified
- Licensed to practice in New York
