Medical Education Director for Strategic Growth

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Education Director to lead our clinical education efforts in strategic growth. With a strong background in nursing leadership and experience in program development and evaluation, this role will be responsible for directing and coordinating clinical educational activities across the service area.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in a related field. Seven years of progressively responsible nursing leadership roles and experience working with teams are essential. This individual must have the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs for caregivers across the service area.
A key responsibility of this role is to partner with division and local leaders in reviewing, revising, and standardizing clinical/nursing policies for the division and service areas. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate enterprising skills to frequently initiate and implement educational projects across the region.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate departmental activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and within Providence and Service Area policies and guidelines.
- Assume responsibility for all caregiver clinical educational activities for all the ministries in the service area.
- Partner with division and local leaders in supporting and facilitating program development and caregiver participation in the processes of EBP, quality improvement, and research.
- Coordinate the hospital-wide competency validation process and documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; and Master's Degree in a related field (Health Administration, Business, Business Administration, Public Health, Management, etc.).
- Seven years of clinical nursing practice.
- Seven years of progressively responsible nursing leadership roles.
- Seven years of experience working with teams.
- Seven years of experience in program development and evaluation.
- Three years of research experience (preferred).
- Three years of teaching adults in a healthcare setting (preferred).

We offer a competitive salary range of $64.03 - $103.07 per hour, depending on experience, plus additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
