Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (MANDATORY)
- Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related discipline (MANDATORY)
- Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role (PREFERRED)
- Licensed Athletic Trainer certification required upon employment (MANDATORY)
- NATA and BOC certifications preferred upon employment (PREFERRED)
Preferred experience includes a minimum of six months in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement injury prevention and treatment protocols; assist in the creation and oversight of rehabilitation and conditioning programs utilizing physical therapy techniques.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop care plans; perform injury evaluations for referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support departmental initiatives including program development, training of new staff, and coordination of educational sessions with medical professionals.
