We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Herbert J. Thomas Memorial Hospital Association dba Thomas Hospitals. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families.
  • Assess and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and document patient information.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to determine appropriateness of services and receive referrals for intervention.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Licensure in a related field (LCSW, LICSW, LPC, or Supervised-Psychologist/Licensed Psychologist).
  • West Virginia state criminal background check and federal background check (if applicable).
  • AVADE training within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in a related field.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health.
Work Environment

The Clinical Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including residential units and outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
