Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Northshore. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, and the monitoring of patient medication therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medication
  • Verify medication orders and monitor patient medication therapy
  • Act as a resource for medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
  • Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through intervention with physicians
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication availability
Requirements
  • Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association within six weeks of start date into position
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification or within 90 days of start date into position
