Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As an ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient.
  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including but not limited to IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program.
  • One year experience preferred in nursing, with a focus on ICU or critical care.
  • Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State.
  • BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
