About This Role

As an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our Vascular Interventional Radiology department. You will work closely with radiologists to perform interventional radiology procedures on both ambulatory and hospitalized patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute high-quality interventional radiology procedures according to established protocols, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout all procedures, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding procedures and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of departmental processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Active ARRT-R (Radiography) certification is required.
  • Certification in one of the following within two years of hire date: ARRT-CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography), ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiography), or ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
