Job Overview

Medline, a leading provider of medical products, is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join its team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for operating a Class B vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to customers across the country. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include affordable medical, dental, vision & Rx plan, generous paid time off, 401k with company match, and professional growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and securing product from the Medline facility into a truck.
  • Safely operating a Class B vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, adhering to Medline's safety regulations.
  • Unloading and delivering product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Providing in-person support to customers, addressing their questions and needs, and providing documentation upon delivery.
  • Communicating with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.

Requirements:
  • Valid US driver's license; Valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) for Class B License or Valid Class E License if required by state.
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience.
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no serious violations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
