We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curriculum Coordinator to join our team at American Training, Inc. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop and implement curriculums for our Day Habilitation and CBDS programs.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Develop curriculums to address Day Habilitation Goals identified by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in relation to the Severity Profile and Service Needs Assessments.
- Program Design: Design curriculums for Guests in employment/community-based programs that highlight necessary skills for work and community integration.
- Procedure Writing: Write procedures and training modules for implementation of the curriculum.
- WOW Magic Implementation: Implement WOW Magic principles and bring FUN and entertainment to curriculum that is developed and facilitated for our Guests.
- Training and Direction: Administratively provide direction and training to related Colleagues in the delivery of the curriculum developed to ensure the highest quality of service provision while showcasing our WOW Magic principles throughout the curriculum.
- Service Evaluation: Ensure that the services that are provided are consistent with the mission/philosophy of American Training Inc.
- Curriculum Update: Update curriculums, train Colleagues, and implement curriculums.
- Communication: Provide verbal communication effectively to allied professionals in relation to service delivery.
- Leadership: Lead and/or co-facilitate groups and/or trainings while embracing WOW Magic to our Colleagues and Guests in support of program objectives.
- Community Outreach: Perform community outreach for the development of curriculum.
- Cultural Competence: Provide effective service delivery and communication to people of varied cultural backgrounds who may not speak English as a first language.
- Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule, contingent upon individual's needs.
- Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the MassHealth and DDS Programming Guidelines.
- Participation: Participate in various groups/committees, either internally or outside the agency as assigned by the VP/Director.
- Monthly Requirements: Complete specific monthly requirements as assigned by VP/Director.
- Supply Management: Purchase supplies as needed for development of curriculum.
- Budget Management: Manage a budget as outlined by all programs.
- Communication: Provide solid and seamless communication with all involved parties.
