Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT Equipment: Utilize advanced CT technology to produce accurate and detailed diagnostic images, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Patient Preparation and Positioning: Safely and efficiently prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and minimizing anxiety.
  • Imaging Procedures and Documentation: Follow physician orders for imaging procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements:
  • ARRT (R) (CT) Certification: Possess current certification in CT from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • State Licensure: Hold valid licensure as a CT Technologist in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, with a strong background in CT imaging and patient care.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess excellent knowledge of CT procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
