Diesel Fleet Technician

Diesel Fleet Technician - We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing diesel fleet maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, battery services, and tire installations.
This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. We only do Preventative maintenance service, light repairs, and tire service.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
- Conduct light repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques, particularly for diesel engines.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to diesel mechanics and equipment repair.
- Experience with fluid exchanges and maintenance services, tire inspections/rotations, installations, and bulb replacements.
- Knowledgeable in the operation of various types of heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with diesel fleet and preventative maintenance practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
