Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg-Telemetry is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care within a specialized clinical environment. This role requires a minimum of 12 months of nursing experience and involves working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Responsibilities: Provide competent care to a specific patient population, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
- Act as a clinical resource for colleagues and advocate for patient and family needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all aspects of care delivery.

- Participate in educational activities and contribute to the orientation of new staff.
- Serve as a mentor and coach for nursing students and new nurses.
Quality and Safety:

- Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligibility under Compact state agreements.
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience with a solid foundation in clinical practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must meet specific unit certification requirements.
