Responsibilities

This role performs anesthetic management under direct physician supervision, including airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting pre-operative patient examinations and reviewing medical histories
• Selecting the appropriate anesthesia type, dosage, and combinations based on patient needs
• Administering anesthesia through various methods, including intravenous injection, gas inhalation, and regional block
• Providing labor pain management using regional blocks, intravenous injections, or a combination of these
• Responding to acute emergency situations and assisting medical staff as needed
• Maintaining all anesthetics and performing airway management during anesthesia administration
• Documenting patient assessment data in the patient record and finalizing records in a timely manner

Requirements

This position requires:

• A Master's degree in Nursing
• A current Registered Nurse license and Nurse Anesthetist certification issued by the TN Board of Nurse Anesthetists and American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS certification

Pay Range: $144.61 - $170.00 per hour.
