Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can grow and develop your skills. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for performing various kitchen duties, including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning, and storing food and non-food supplies.

  • You will operate dishwashing equipment and distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
  • You will maintain a safe and sanitary working environment by adhering to established standards, safety guidelines, and quality procedures.
  • You will ensure that all cleaning solutions are used properly and follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, and perform routine tasks daily. You must also be able to work independently and take initiative to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law. You must be able to lift/carry up to 10 pounds, push/pull up to 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and facility guests.
