Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Boiler Operation and Maintenance: Perform daily boiler operation and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor refrigeration, air compressors, and sewer systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document and record meter readings, including gas, sewer, electric, and water usage, to ensure accurate reporting to regulatory agencies.
  • Facility Inspections: Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of the facility and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Repair and Maintenance Coordination: Notify the maintenance department of any necessary repairs and assist with repair work as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all necessary records and paperwork are maintained to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Boiler Cleaning and Inspection: Perform annual cleaning and inspection of boilers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for employees and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
  • Quality and Sanitation: Follow all Dairy Farmers of America good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of boiler operation and maintenance, as well as experience with system monitoring and documentation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in a related field is preferred.
