We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Burleson Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens.
- Prepare residents for meals and snacks, and assist with eating when needed.
- Read and follow daily care plans, perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Document care provision on resident records and flow sheets as required, and report accidents and incidents.
- Follow safety and sanitation rules, and promptly report any injuries or violations to the supervisor.
- Understand, comply with, and promote all regulations and policies regarding resident rights.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, and promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State, with preferably one year of experience with the company.
- High School Diploma.
- Must relate positively to residents, family members, employees, nursing, and facility management.
- Must comply with company Time and Attendance Policies.
- Physical and Sensory Requirements: Walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages, ability to distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures, ability to read and write, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors, and consultants, ability to remain calm under stress.
