Dishwasher Assistant

At Thrive Restaurant Group, we're looking for a dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of our restaurant operations and contribute to our mission of making a difference in the lives of our guests and the community.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including washing dishes, pots, and pans, and assisting with food preparation activities. They will also be cross-trained in all kitchen department roles, allowing them to grow and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and place them in the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster area.
• Wash work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
• Clean garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine.

Requirements:

• A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
• Adequate vision to discern cleanliness and operate a touchscreen.
