We are seeking a Medical Screener to join our team in [Location]. As a Medical Screener, you will play a crucial role in greeting donors at our plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified donors in completing screening procedures, including assessing self-administered health history and performing health screening tests such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
  • Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, explaining the screening process, health screening tests, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition, and other relevant information.
  • Register applicants and transfer donors based on completion of appropriate training and operational needs of the center.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three months' experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment
