Fine Furniture Artisan

We're seeking a highly skilled Fine Furniture Artisan to join our team at Ardmore Home Design. As a key member of our repair and refurbishment department, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality repairs and refurbishments on returned goods to meet or exceed initial new standards.

This will involve assessing damages on various material types, determining the most suitable repair methods, and utilizing a range of techniques such as fillers, burn-ins, color matching, structural repairs, and installation of replacement parts to achieve high-quality repairs.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum of two years of proven experience in furniture repair or a related field, along with strong skills in woodworking, upholstery, and leather repair. You'll also be proficient in using both hand and electrical tools for furniture assembly and repair, and able to lift, push, or pull equipment and merchandise weighing 50 pounds or more.
