Responsibilities of Our Nurses:


Deliver exceptional customer service to Residents and Team Members by adhering to the standards outlined in the MG CARES program.

Support and promote the philosophy, goals, objectives, and programs of the community and Pines of Newmarket Inc.

Guide and mentor caregiving Team Members in resident services.

Maintain a respectful and confidential attitude towards residents, Team Members, and visitors at all times.


Assist in creating and sustaining a calm environment that emphasizes warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the community.

Provide management reports as requested.

Participate in and deliver in-service training as directed.


Operate within the guidelines established by Pines of Newmarket Inc for resident care as outlined in community policies and state regulations.

Administer medication services to residents as permitted by state regulations and specified in each resident's service plan.

Assess residents' needs and capabilities as detailed in each resident's service plan.


Document the outcomes of services provided and evaluations of residents' needs and capabilities in accordance with state requirements and community procedures.

Communicate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as necessary and appropriate.

Deliver direct care to residents based on their identified service needs within the policies of Pines of Newmarket Inc and state regulations.

Be available by phone while on duty.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of employment.

A minimum of 1-year experience in nursing, preferably in geriatric care.
