Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Technician to join our team at L.B.A Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic water systems in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation of various domestic water and vacuum systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, vents, faucets, water softeners, and garbage disposals.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate records of activities and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Request and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Quality Control: Test for leaks in new and repaired systems and ensure all work meets company standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: GED or High School Diploma; preferred: Apprentice license.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform multiple technical tasks, operate equipment, and plan/managing projects; computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work Environment

This is a field service environment that requires exposure to various conditions, including:

  • Extreme weather conditions.
  • Local travel.
  • Extended work hours, including day and/or evening shifts.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and may be exposed to verbal and/or physical confrontations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
