Newborn Care Physician Leader Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Newborn Care Physician Leader to join our team at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Job Summary:
- Lead a team of pediatricians in providing high-quality patient care, including attending deliveries, managing sick newborns, and coordinating transfers to higher levels of care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of care.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments to deliver comprehensive care to newborns and their families.
- Mentor and educate residents and junior physicians in pediatric hospital medicine, promoting excellence in clinical practice and research.
Requirements:
- Board certification/eligibility in general pediatrics is required.
- State of Ohio and Federal DEA Certification; Medical Specialty License.
- Experience and competency in caring for sick newborns is required.
- National Resuscitation Program certification is required.
Estimated Salary: Around $250,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification.
