Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and their families during this critical time.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families, develop individualized patient care plans, and provide family-centered patient teaching.
  • Identify and correct variances from patient care plans, facilitate discharge planning and teaching, and accurately administer and document medications.
  • Continuously evaluate the plan of care to determine the need for modifications and provide individualized nursing interventions based on the plan of care.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
