Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Pala, CA

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a school in the Pala, CA area. This is a part-time position for the 2024-2025 school year with guaranteed hours and comprehensive benefits.
About the Job- This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience and an active SLPA license in California.
- Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatrics settings is preferred but not required.
As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students with support needs. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities- Delivering speech therapy services to pre-K through 8th-grade students with the support of an on-site SLP.
- Collecting data on students' performance during therapy sessions and sharing these findings with the supervising SLP.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed and attending IEP meetings.
- Assisting the SLP in preparing and organizing therapy materials such as flashcards, worksheets, communication boards, etc.
