Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team. As a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse, you will provide care to post-cardiac surgery, valve repair, chest pain, coronary artery, and cardiothoracic surgery patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications utilizing the 5 rights to medication administration
- Providing a comforting, safe, and healing environment for patients and their families
- Performing and documenting care for all admissions and patients
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of employment start date
