Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Oncology Surgeon to join our team at VetProCentral. As a Veterinary Oncology Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to our patients, working closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff to deliver the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat cancer in animals using advanced surgical techniques and medical therapies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cancer, working closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including tumor removals and reconstructive surgery.
  • Provide ongoing care and support to patients with cancer, including pain management and symptom control.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary oncology, attending conferences and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • Board certification in veterinary oncology or surgery required.
  • Experience in veterinary oncology or surgery preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team of veterinarians and support staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.
