Job Summary

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality customer service to residents and prospects. This position requires a customer-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to leasing inquiries, following up on leads, and touring apartments as needed
  • Assisting with developing marketing plans and posting advertisements
  • Processing rental applications, executing leases, and collecting deposits
  • Managing move-ins and move-outs
  • Inputting maintenance requests
  • Processing rental payments daily and maintaining accurate tenant ledgers
  • Managing collections process and working with outside counsel to facilitate the collections and eviction process per company policy
  • Processing deposit accounting in a timely manner
  • Managing and participating in leasing and renewal activities
  • Monitoring use of community facilities, mail, and fitness center
  • Assisting with other administrative and property management tasks as assigned
