Job Overview

Kosmos is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze functional statements, organizational structures, and project details to define roles and responsibilities of personnel and teams, identifying potential overlaps.
  • Implement and advocate for Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and other Operational Excellence strategies.

Drive and facilitate process enhancement initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of results, monitoring improvements, and maintaining control. Evaluate process efficiency, facility layout, and operational metrics such as production expenses, process flow diagrams, and production timelines to optimize the use of personnel and machinery.

  • Propose strategies for enhancing workforce productivity and minimizing material and utility waste through job duty restructuring, workflow reorganization, equipment relocation, and capital investment in new tools.
  • Maximize material efficiency in product manufacturing and decrease production costs.
  • Minimize material waste and scrap generated during production.
  • Collaborate with management and engineering teams to execute plans and recommendations.
  • Establish management systems for cost assessment, financial forecasting, and job evaluation.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of job roles.
  • Create database applications as necessary to facilitate information flow.

Monitor and document relevant data for new product developments.

  • Prepare new products for testing and/or certification.
  • Develop and uphold departmental job procedures.
  • Compile and distribute various reports for management review.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering.
