We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. as a PRN (as needed) position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic sonography procedures, utilizing their expertise in ultrasound technology to provide high-quality images for medical diagnosis.

• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures, including ultrasound exams, to provide high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
• Position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Review and analyze ultrasound images, identifying any abnormalities or issues.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program.
• Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) or ARRT Sonography certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in sonography.

• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
