We are seeking a qualified Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the Young Men's Christian Association of Wichita Kansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering gymnastics programs for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of participants.
2. Provide instruction and evaluation of participants in accordance with YMCA guidelines.
3. Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for participants.
4. Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff.
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of gymnastics programs.
6. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Requirements

1. Minimum age of 18.
2. Minimum two years of relevant experience teaching the sport.

Physical and Mental Demands

1. Must be able to perform physical activities such as running, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
2. Must be able to lead and coach teams and individuals.
3. Must possess mental alertness, problem-solving, and task management skills.
4. Must demonstrate a high level of maturity, patience, dependability, sound judgment, and the desire to work with all ages.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work collaboratively as a team member and independently.
