We are seeking a skilled Pediatric ER Travel Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Pediatric ER Travel Nurse, you will work in a fast-paced, urgent, and emergency environment, providing high-quality care to pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic bedside care to pediatric patients, including vital sign checks and monitoring of emotional and physical well-being.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families.
- Participate in activities to manage a child's pain and evaluate a child for signs and symptoms of abuse.
- Serve as a child advocate and provide education to patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
- At least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in a pediatric emergency setting.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift patients up to 50 pounds.
- Good coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds, especially the adolescent population.
