Job Summary:

CHRISTUS Health seeks a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering primary and acute care to neonates and infants, from birth to 1 year old. Your expertise will be invaluable in diagnosing and treating patients with undifferentiated symptoms and established diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough health assessments, including taking complete histories and performing physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses and diseases, including ordering and interpreting laboratory and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medication and durable medical equipment as needed, and make referrals for patients and families.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, health education, and counseling services to patients and families.

Requirements:

• Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• BLS obtained by the American Heart Association.
• NRP Certification.
• Previous neonatal experience required.
