Lead Behavioral Health Professional

We are seeking a skilled Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Brightli. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field, and 2 years of experience in Human Services or a related field.
The Lead Behavioral Health Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the Clinical Team by assisting in treatment procedures and providing leadership to fellow Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) during shifts. This position is dedicated to fostering a safe and therapeutic environment for clients/patients, modeling appropriate behaviors, and ensuring that program expectations are clearly communicated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead, providing guidance and direction to other Behavioral Health Technicians working the same shift.
- Oversee daily activities of clients/patients, ensuring expectations and rules are adhered to while communicating pertinent behaviors to the treatment team.
- Adhere to all medication policies and collaborate with trained Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure compliance.
- De-escalate crisis situations with direction from Program Leadership.

Education & Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field;
- High School or General Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of responsible employment history;
- Experience in Human Services or a related field is preferred;
- Exceptions to the qualifications listed may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member;
The estimated annual salary for this position is $54,000 - $62,000 depending on qualifications and location.
