Job Summary

DBSI Services is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for converting 2D legacy drawings into 3D CAD models using Catia V5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and understand legacy drawings of aerostructures parts
  • Digitize legacy drawings in AUTOCAD
  • Design and create 3D CAD models of aircraft structural parts
  • Ensure quality of 3D models matches legacy 2D inputs
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
  • Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace structures design and CAD modeling
  • U.S. citizen or GC required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA
  • Working knowledge of engineering assembly and installation drawings
