Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Canton, NY. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pharmacy department's operation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies to maintain the pharmacy's good standing.
  • Oversee the pharmacy department's entire operation, achieving financial goals such as budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Engage in business development activities within the store and community.
  • Manage pharmacy support personnel functions, including job performance reviews and training to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide patient-centered services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, drug interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient health to ensure compliance and optimize therapies.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation in accordance with company standards.
  • Complete continuing education programs as mandated by state law.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Valid NY Pharmacy License
  • Immunization Certification (Required)
  • Must be comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
