Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a school setting. As a COTA, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to provide occupational therapy services and support.
Responsibilities
- **Provide occupational therapy services** to students with varying abilities and needs, including those with physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities.
- **Collaborate with teachers and other healthcare professionals** to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote student success and independence.
- **Conduct assessments and evaluations** to identify student needs and develop strategies to address them.
- **Develop and implement adaptive equipment and techniques** to support student participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
- **Maintain accurate records and reports** of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
- **Associates Level Degree in Occupational Therapy** or related field.
- **Active state COTA license**.
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**.
- **Ability to work independently and as part of a team**.
