Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Brunswick Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform patient transfers, and transport patients as needed.
  • Provide routine respiratory care, including ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy, and other related interventions.
  • Work independently in the specialty of Respiratory Care, practicing according to state requirements and standards.
  • Participate in code blue, airway management, and interpretation and intervention with blood gas analysis.
  • Use all related protocols for patient care in critical care areas and emergent situations.
Requirements
  • Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state.
  • 2-year/Associate Degree, required; 4-year/Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
