Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging in accordance with established protocols and standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing patient medical histories and physician orders.
  • Educating patients about procedures and ensuring their understanding.
  • Preparing and administering contrast media and medications as required.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and responding to any changes.
  • Setting up equipment and ensuring proper supplies are available.
  • Implementing safety protocols and conducting quality control checks on imaging equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and reporting any equipment issues.
  • Positioning patients for imaging and performing the necessary procedures.
  • Analyzing imaging results and addressing any quality concerns.
  • Documenting and reporting scan results accurately.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to lift and move patients and equipment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Awareness of safety protocols related to exposure to communicable diseases.

Certifications Required:

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; advanced certification in Computed Tomography is preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.

Experience:

  • At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred, with prior CT experience being advantageous.
