Job Summary:
Monterey Park Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the San Gabriel Valley, is seeking a skilled ER Technician to join our Emergency Department team. As an ER Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and support to patients and families in the Emergency Department
- Take assignments and direction from the assigned Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Contribute to the provision of safety and quality care that result in positive outcomes in patient care
- Support the hospital's mission and vision by utilizing knowledge of patient's age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- EMT/CNA or MA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as an ER Tech, C.N.A. or MA in a hospital setting preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- AB508, MAB, CPI or equivalent training within 90 days of hire/transfer/promotion date
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
