Augusta, Maine, United States Proactive Rehabilitation & Wellness Full time
Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to become a part of our exceptional team at ProActive Rehabilitation & Wellness.

Our expanding outpatient private practice clinic specializes in treating adults, focusing on orthopedics, neurology, pain management, amputee rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and sports-related injuries. Recently, we have integrated Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy into our services and are experiencing a significant increase in patient referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans
  • Organize and implement rehabilitative programs aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, increasing strength, and addressing disabling conditions resulting from illness or injury.
  • Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to ensure effective execution of care plans
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and content development initiatives within the practice

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to start on a PRN basis, with the potential to transition to part-time or full-time as our patient load increases. While the primary focus will be on Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, we are open to discussing a diverse caseload and opportunities to work in other practice areas as desired.

Why Choose Us?

We offer a supportive team environment, a diverse patient demographic, and ample opportunities for professional growth. Our philosophy centers around the belief that healthcare is fundamentally about PEOPLE—both those receiving care and those providing it. By joining ProActive Rehabilitation & Wellness, you become an integral part of a practice that prioritizes personalized care over generic treatment plans.

Additionally, we pride ourselves on being a flexible and innovative practice. If you have ideas for new treatments or services, we encourage you to share them, and we will explore their implementation. We value the creativity of our team members in addressing challenges and enhancing patient care. We even allocate paid time for content creation to support your professional development.

If this aligns with your professional aspirations, we would love to hear from you.

Benefits:

  • AFLAC Supplemental Insurance
  • Health Share Membership (alternative to traditional health insurance)
  • Dental Insurance
  • Opportunities for career advancement
  • Paid Time Off
  • Training and Development Programs
  • Vision Insurance
  • Flexible remote work options available.
