We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Hartford Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to patients of all ages and acuity levels.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN degree.
- Current Connecticut RN license required prior to start date.
- Previous acute care RN experience preferred, but new graduate RNs with a passion for Emergency Medicine are encouraged to apply.
- BLS certification by American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
