Position SummaryRMC is seeking a Senior Analyst to assist the Department of Navy in evaluating Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and transactions that fall under the purview of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
The chosen candidate will be responsible for performing financial due diligence and risk evaluations on various proposed business transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as international relations, economics, mergers & acquisitions, law, and political science.
- Examine foreign transactions to evaluate their implications for national security and to protect Department of Defense (DoD) assets and critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify patterns and anomalies within extensive datasets, conduct literature reviews, and synthesize information to provide informed guidance to leadership.
- Offer insights regarding the feasibility of foreign investments and potential business strategies, as well as review transaction documentation.
- Analyze data and collaborate with Fleet and system commands to formulate draft Navy positions on pertinent CFIUS cases.
- Facilitate and attend meetings (including classified ones), prepare agendas, track action items, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Draft document summaries, point papers, briefs, and other relevant materials.
- Utilize strong writing and analytical capabilities.
Required:
A bachelor's degree along with five (5) years of relevant experience.
An active TOP SECRET clearance is mandatory to commence employment. The selected applicant may undergo a security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
Desired:
A Master's degree and three (3) years of experience are preferred.
