Great American Transport is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Lead to join our growing Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in safeguarding our organization's sensitive information and systems by implementing robust IAM strategies and best practices.
As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing, strengthening, and securing our IAM systems to ensure a secure and compliant environment. You will collaborate closely with development teams, IT security experts, and other stakeholders to integrate secure identity solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on the implementation and administration of IAM platforms, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify vulnerabilities and inefficiencies within our IAM systems and recommend solutions to enhance security and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure identity solutions into enterprise systems, promoting a culture of security throughout the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, addressing any identified gaps promptly.
- Stay abreast of emerging IAM technologies and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve our security posture.
To excel in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of enterprise-level IAM concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in IAM implementation, administration, and security best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of identity protocols and technologies such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, SAML, AD-Fed, API Gateways, SCIM, and platforms like Ping Identity, Okta, MS Azure, and ForgeRock.
- Experience with at least one major IAM vendor or solution is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
